Science tutoring

← All academic consulting

For high-school students in biology, chemistry, and related sciences.

Why work with me

Harvard PhD in biological sciences, MD program training at UT Southwestern, and a decade of teaching and mentoring — including Science Mentor with HPREP (Health Professions Recruitment & Exposure Program) in Boston and Dallas.

I bring a perspective most science tutors don't: in high school I was a HOSA Texas State Champion and placed 2nd nationally (2007). I teach concepts the way I wish I'd been taught — by building real understanding, not memorizing tricks.

Who this is for

High-school students in honors, AP, or IB biology, chemistry, anatomy/physiology, or related sciences. Also helpful for AP exams, SAT science topics, and competitive science programs and fairs.
